Ran a couple days a week at lunchtime. Round 2: Exercise: Average of 6. Trying to fit in X-stretch when possible. Running 3 days a week average of 10 miles a week. Adam and I are currently on week 6 of the program. Nutrition: Strictly following the plan.
So what am I not eating now? Now Adam and I plan in advance our dinners and grocery shopping so we always have healthy, whole dinners.

Have you had difficulty consuming the amount of calories required? You all are crazy, much respect for the level of effort. My friend is trying it and it sounds rough adamsp I am just done with week eight and I have messed up the nutrition plan since day 1.
Phase 3 will be better since I can have protein and carbs in the same amounts. The exercise is hard but the meal plan is harder and so time consuming for 2 people. I have been taking in approx calories a day. After reading the P90x diet book it said based on the calculations that I need approx calories.
That seems like alot while trying to lose body fat. I would say I sit alot. So honestly no. I have been doubling up on the P90X workouts during phase II. I do a cardo X workout every other day. I would aim for more around 2, — 2, calories per day.
Im getting that checked on monday, but i started p90x this past monday. I wanna drop as much body fat as i can by june 1st. Be patient. The body fat on your belly could be and usually is the last to go. Once you hit a plateau, then you make some adjustments. Name required. Mail will not be published required. I would love an accountability partner Posted: 05 Mar , I already dropped 17 pounds with diet and exercise, now I'm in good enough shape to tackle the P90x. I've really enjoyed this first week. I tried the accountability thread idea at beachbody but there are just way too many folk posting over there, you just get lost in the forum traffic! I'm still working at it but eggs, fish chicken and nuts are superb sources of protein.
I typically consume over cals for breakfast. I do that with a carb free Protein drink while I workout and then the P90X recovery drink afterwards. These two drinks alone are over cals. I eat oatmeal before I leave for work and that's as complicated as my breakfast is. I'll eat a power bar for a snack a couple of hours before lunch where I typically eat a tuna and egg salad.
It's a lot of food but again it's protein based. Right now I use 4x boiled aggs throw away the yolks and 9 oz of tuna. Add a V8 juice and it's a quick healthy meal. I'll eat a yoghurt at mid afternoon and go home to cook dinner which is often 2 peices of chicken cooked in a skillet, mushrooms, carrots and peppers.
A banana or pear in the evening rounds up my day for about cals and a good balance of the protein, carbs and fat food groups. It's not easy and keeping it interesting is the hardest part but there are plenty of recipies out there. I made turkey chili last weekend while I watched the race, it was great!
Posted: 09 Mar , We are doing the lean then i will do the classic i am also having a hard time doing the diet my job makes it hard to follow the diet. I have been eating better than i was which has helped me lose a little bit of weight. I have lost about 10 lbs good luck to you Posted: 22 Mar , I also started P90x 2 weeks ago with my wife and things are going well. Still a bit frustrated that the weight in our mid-sections hasn't gone away as much as I hoped.
Anyone else still having problems getting rid of the mid-section? What can I do? I'm thinking I need to take less breaks and keep my heart rate moving.
Posted: 24 Mar , My husband are and I are also doing p90x together on week 5 and haven't lost any weight- I had to start exercising twice a day, and now I'm finally seeing results Stephanie.
